Duties and Responsibilities: Seating patients in the treatment
area, passing requested instruments to the dentist during dental procedures,
sterilization and preparation of instruments, taking impressions of teeth for
study models, polishing clinical crowns, exposing and developing x-rays.
Salary: $63,000
Education: Some states require you to be licensed or registered. You do
not need to be a college graduate. There are many dental assisting school
programs in the United States. You can get your diploma in as little as 8
months.
I myself
would consider this career it seems like a very easy job, and it is very easy
to obtain your diploma. It has a decent pay if my teaching career does not take off i would consider this.
