Final Part 1

                      Class/Self Evaluation
1. Something that I liked about this class is that I was able to develop my typing skills. I am not the best typer or even close to being the best typer, but I have gotten a bit better. Another thing that I liked about this class is that I was able to practice my writing. I also liked the quotes and learning about the people that said the quotes. Some quotes were very important because I could relate to them and I understood what they meant. It was easy to take the quotes and relate them to something I had gone through or something that I can possibly go through in the future.
The one thing that I did not like about the class was that some students had unnecessary comments or just had a bad attitude towards some activities.
2. I would love to say that I always tried my best, but I would be lying. There were a few days where I just did my work because I had to and did not really put much effort into it. I could have worked harder, despite me having a few bad days I feel like I did well in this class.
3. I would also love to say that I am committed to choosing the right but I can't. I have done a lot better this year on choosing the right and it has really paid off, but there are still sometimes were I choose the wrong. I have tried a lot harder and I would say 95% of the time I have chosen the right. That 5% still remains and I am still working on it, on being able to get rid of that shameful 5%.

Senior Project

                                    Senior Project

For the seniors it's a whole different ball game. As seniors we have to create a portfolio that proves that we are ready to graduate high school and that we are ready to succeed in the real world. This portfolio will contain 8 artifacts, each artifact represents a certain task. This artifacts are work that we have done in our high school years. Seniors did not have to do the IDP showcase this semester but we did have a part in the IDP I myself was a part of the panel. My job was to evaluate the student and their presentations. It was something great to experience because well i get to see what it was like to be on the side. I g ot to experience what it is like to be able to grade. It was fun.

Right

"Always do right."

By: Mark Twain

What this quote means is that you should always do the right thing. If you do the right thing then you will be better off than those who choose to do the wrong thing. Doing the right thing makes you a hard working person. If you are a hard worker than you will open up many doors for yourself. For example if you push yourself for the four years of high school you are guaranteed that you will make it into a 4 year university. Doing the right thing will then pay off because you will have a great chance at getting into the school of your dreams. There can also be a possibility of you getting a full ride and be able to attend the university completely free. Hard work always pays off if you go on about life like it is not something important and you do as you lease then you will never get anywhere. You will never have half of the opportunities that you would have if you tried a little harder.  You should always do right, by doing so you will have a great life. You will have many great experiences and you will be able to create memories along the way.

Bad Company

" It's better to be alone than to be in bad company."

By: Unknown

What this quote means to me i that if you are going to be surrounding yourself with bad people it is better for you to just be alone. You do not need to have people made you feel or look like a bad person. Some people only hang out with bad crowds because they want to be in on the fun. They feel like if they are with the "cool" kids then they will always be having a good time. In reality my view on this is that you could have fun with those people for a while but afterwards you are just going to be hurting. For example if you got to a party with bad company they will most likely drink and they wont care your "friends" will be doing their own thing and they will not be looking after you. You could possibly get hurt or get into trouble and your that bad company will not be there to bail you or or to help you wnet you need them. In that case i would honestly rather stay at home and watch television on my own all day. I would be at home where no harm could be done to me or where i could not get in any trouble i would be watching a movie and enjoying my night. You do not have to go out and surround yourself with bad people to have a good time. There are many other ways to have a good time and being safe. Being in bad company will only hurt you in the end not only physically but emotionally as well. I understand that being young makes you choose the wrong things sometimes but you have to honestly suit yourself down ad ask yourself what is making you happy what is going to make you succeed in life. I do not think that hanging out with bad influences will help you land a job in your dream career.

Fear

"If we do what's right, we have no need to fear."

By: Evan Stephens

What this quote means to me is that if you do what is expected from you should not be afraid to get punished for any wrong doing. If you do as your parents tells you then there is no reason why you should fear getting any type of lecture or punishment. For example if your parents ask you to get good grades at school and you try your very best than there is no reason why you should be afraid when your grades arrive home. Another example would be if your parents let yo stay home alone for a weekend and you do not have people over and you do what is expected from you then you should not be anxious or scared for your parents to get home.If you are not involved in any activities that you are not supposed to be involved with then you should not fear. When you do whatis right then that also helps you become a good person and people will see you as a trustworthy person. When you do what is right then there are no possible bad outcomes the only outcome that you will get is a good one.

The 3 Questions

Image result for lou holtz1. Can people trust me to do what's right?2. Am I committed to doing my very best?3. Do I treat people the way I want to be treated?

"If the answer to these questions are YES, there is no way you can fail."

By: Lou Holtz

What these questions are asking is what is required to be a good person. If you have these qualities then there is no way you can possibly fail. If you are trustworthy, you try your very best, and you treat others the way you want to be treated then you are set for life. You will have a great experience in life and you will not fail. Well of course you might fail in some projects or experience some kind of failure, bu then you would know you have someone to be there for you. Since you were ducha good person people would want to help you out on your bad days. Being trustworthy is one of the best feelings you can experience. When someone is able to leave you in charge of a very important project or task and you complete the task as they asked you to this is only helping you out. Later on in life if they need someone they will come top you first and you will feel great about it. If you are committed to doing your very best then there is definitely no way you will fail. You are trying your hardest and giving something your best so that requires for your outcome to be great. Finally if you treat other the way you want to be treated then you should be happy. WHatever you give you get back, if you treat someone with respect then they will treat you with respect. If you treat someone like they are unwanted or unimportant it might slide but at the end of the day you will get this returned to you somehow.

Physical Fitness

"Physical fitness is not only one of the most important keys to a healthy body, it is the basis of dynamic and creative intellectual activity, The relationship between the soundness of the body and the activities of the mind is subtle and complex. Much is not yet understood. But we do know what the Greeks knew: that intelligence and skill can only function at the peak of their capacity when the body is healthy and strong."

By: President John F. Kennedy

What this quote means is that if your body is not healthy or strong then you are unable to function at your best. For example if your are sick or you had a long night and you have to go to school the next morning you will not function properly because you are not healthy and strong. When you have a fever you do not want to get out of bed to get yourself something to eat or to get medecine. When your whole body aches and you have a some assignments due your next class meeting you feel even worse. Your body is not in a good state and that makes your mind be in bad state as well. There has been many times where i do not feel good and i still have to come to school. On those days I do not perform well in any of my classes no matter how hard I try. Half of the time I am thinking about how bad I feel and I would much rather be at home in my bed. I am not a person that gives up easily but when I am sick it makes my mind weak as well. I begin to give up on the easiest task. Being physically weak makes you mentally weak as well. Having your body function well makes everything else work well as well.

 Paris

Many people always say that Paris is the place they would like to visit when they are first asked where they would like to travel. I myself am part of those people; Paris has always been a place that intrigues me. Being a hopeless romantic makes me want to visit the city even more. Paris, France's capital is a major European city and a global center for art, fashion, gastronomy and culture. I would like to go visit the Eiffel tower and would have liked to visit the bridge of love. The Eiffel tower was built as a monument for the 100-year anniversary of the French revolution. The tower was built by Gustave Eiffel’s company, the idea was brought up by Maurice Koechlin one of Eiffel’s employees.  The building took 2 years and it was inaugurated on March 1889, it stood 1,000 feet high making it the highest structure in the world. The bridge of love was a bridge where many lovers would go and attach a lock to the bridge as a symbol of their love. This bridge was recently taken down because of the weight. The locks weight approximately 45 tons and they were messing up the structure of the bridge. The bridge was fist built in the early 1800’s and rebuilt in the 1980’s. Paris is a beautiful city and it was many great places to visit, I would like to drink coffee in one of their cafes and go shopping in their very famous boutiques.
