Feel Right

"You cannot do wrong and feel right. It is impossible."

                                                           By: Ezra T. Benson

When you do something wrong it is only natural for you to feel bad because of what you did. There is no possible way that you would be ok with doing something bad. If you were to hurt someone that you claimed to love it would only be right for you to feel bad for what you did to hurt them. Whether you said something wrong or you brought up a topic that person does not like talking  about you will feel bad. If you come to school everyday and somehow end up getting in trouble in every single class you will not feel good to know you are causing so many problems. If you keep getting bad grades and your parents have given you everything to be a great student i'm sure you will feel like a failure. I myself when I do something wrong I feel bad. If I bring home bad grades I feel like I have failed my mother. I am sure that if you go and ask any prisoner if they feel bad for whatever crime they did they will mostly likely say they do feel bad. There is no way anyone could be ok with doing wrong.

Good and Bad

"When I do good, I feel good.                                     When I do bad, I feel bad."

                                   By Abraham Lincoln

When someone does something good they are going to feel good because they can get compliments about how good they did. If that person later does something bad the will be punished and be looked upon for their wrong doing. I myself feel great about  myself when I do something good. For example when I finish all my work in class and I do good job at it I feel great about myself. In the other hand, when I do something bad I feel about about myself.  For example when I do not finish my work I feel as if I have failed. Another example of doing something bad would be lying to your parents. I have lied to my mother before and instantly felt bad about it so I tried to fix it and I did but either way I still felt bad. Another example of doing the correct thing it would be doing everything you are asked to as long as it is something good, something that helps you improve yourself.

"Obedience"

"The key to freedom is obedience. The more obedient we are, the more freedom we have."

                                By: Boyd K. Packer

If you are obedient from the very start  you will have freedom. For example, if you disobey your parents when  they tell you they want  you home at 12pm when they let you go out to a party and you come home at 3am; your parents will not let you out anymore because you disobeyed them. Another example would be you disobeying the law, if you disobey the law you get consequences sometimes they might not be as bad as others but you will receive consequences. Running a red light can get you a ticket a very expensive ticket for that matter. You disobeyed the law and ran a red light not only did you put your life in danger but you also put others in danger. If you have a dog that is disobedient you would not want to let it go outside and run around because if you do when  you cal the dog to come back inside the dog will not come inside, you will have to go chase the dog around. The dog will be losing your trust in a way and therefore you will not want to let it go outside anymore. the dog would no longer be free to run around. Obeying will always get you freedom, choosing the right will lead you to freedom.

"Obedience is the great test of life"

"Obedience is the great test of life"

                                                          By: Thomas S. Monson
In my opinion the quote "Obedience is the great test of life"  means that life is always testing you to see if you can obey. It can be the smallest thing and you may  not even notice it but you are being tested by life. There are many ways you can be tested starting with your parents asking you to do something. For example they may ask you to go home right after school and it would be up to you if you want to obey them or not. Another example could be your teacher asking you to do an assignment if you do not do it will not only lower your grade but it will also show that you do  not know how to obey orders. Being an obedient person can be hard if you are used to always doing the wrong thing, but if you begin to work on doing the correct thing then it will be easy to become an obedient person. Being obedient does not always require you listening to what others want it can also be listening to yourself. You may have a task to complete and if you are not obedient with yourself then there is no way that you will get that task done. You must obey yourself when you say you are going to get something done. Obedience is a test that everyone should pass with 100% but it does require discipline.

September 11th

On September 11, 2001 four U.S airplanes were hijacked. Two of those planes crashed into the twin towers in New York city . Another plane crashed into the pentagon in Washington D.C. The last plane crashed into a Pennsylvania field it was meant to crash somewhere else but the passengers made it crash into the field. When this occurred I was about 3 years old, but my first memory hearing about his was when I was 8. I was watching T.V with my mother when I first saw videos of this horrible incident.

Education

"Education is the latch key to success in life"
by Gordon B. Hinckley

This quote is important because having an education will open many doors for you to be successful. If you do not apply yourself and try your best to get a proper education you will not be successful in life. Having an education will set you apart from many other people and it can help you in many ways. Getting a job would be so much easier because you would have some kind of knowledge of what the job is requiring. Your education will set you apart from that other person that is applying for the exact same job and will land you the job because you have the proper education. Anyone would hire a person that got an education over the person that did not receive a proper education.

"Decisions Determine Destiny"

 "Decisions Determine Destiny"

By: Thomas S. Monson
This quote is saying that whatever decision you make it will affect your future one way or another.
An example of this quote would be choosing to go to school or staying home and being lazy. If you stay home you will loose valuable information and fall behind, if you miss a lot you will be behind by a lot and that will affect your grades. If you do not perform properly this will affect you later on when you are trying to apply to your dream college.

Athletic Trainer
Duties and Responsibilities: Create contact with local physicians, businesses, schools, coaches, and other referral sources. Be able to treat athletic injuries, provide for their needs. Being able to help rehabilitate and get them back in good condition.

Education: Bachelor’s degree

Reflection: I would not want to do this because I would not react well to emergency situations I would most likely freak out. There might also be blood in some situations and if there is a lot of blood I would not don well

My hobbie is playing the clarinet. I have been playing the clarinet since the sixth grade and have really enjoyed it. My best friend and I began playing  around the same time. She no longer plays she only did it for the second semester of sixth grade meanwhile I played up to this day. I am currently in the Linda Marquez Marching Band and I am really looking forward to what this year is going to bring. This is my last year of high school and it might be the last year i get to play.
